It is a stretch mesh based on polyamide with elastane (or spandex)
Depending on its weight per m2 and its composition, this mesh will have more or less bounce. The greater the weight per m2, the greater the rebound effect.
The powernet comes in three forms: light, medium, strong.
It can be extensible in 2 or 4 directions. Be sure to read the descriptions carefully and in particular check the most extensible direction which in some cases is parallel to the edge.

The powernet can also be used to reinforce pieces of clothing such as: panties, bras, leggings, swimwear, ... Its uses are therefore numerous you will find the powernet as much in lingerie, dance, gymnastics, sportswear, swimwear, traditional clothing, ....
Tips and tricks
Lightweight powernet is often very flexible and its gain power is very limited (cf weight per m2, ...).
This can be significantly improved:
- by doubling it superimpose 2 pieces of light powernet / the senses the most expandable in the same direction (don't position them at 90 degrees as this will "block" the fabric). More and more brands are doubling the back bands to keep the transparent aspect of the light powernet but to offer a better support. Not suitable for larger sizes.
- The use of good rubber bands is a little wider will also help to compensate for the low rebound of the light powernet.
