1-piece swimming costume pattern - BLUE

The BLUE swimming costume is a 1-piece swimming costume.

The top has a bandeau shape, ideal for an even tan and a refined silhouette.

The BLUE pattern is available in 2 cup sizes B/C and D/E.

2 models are available:
- model A with a decorative divider
- model B without separator

The jersey is fully lined for top-of-the-range comfort. You can also add foam inserts.

Description

All patterns come with an explanatory booklet.

In pocket format, the pattern includes 2 A0 format sheets

In downloadable format the pattern is downloadable in A0 and A4 format (2 A0 sheets and 2 x 18 A4 sheets).

For the supplies you will need :

– fabric: 70cm x 140cm (1 x 1.55 yds)
– lining: 70cm x 140cm (1 x 1.55 yds)

But also :

– 2m of 8mm (5/16») wide bias binding for the leg openings

-1 metre of 12mm wide laminate for the underside of the chest

-2m of 10-12mm (15/32») silicone elastic for the top of the swimsuit

For model A :

-1 separator approx. 70mm long

-2m of 12mm (15/32") wide laminate to make 15mm (19/32") straps and 2 end caps

Level required :

– able to use a sewing machine, have basic sewing skills

– if you have an overlocker, now’s the time to use it

– Difficulty: 2/4

You'll need some sewing skills to make this swimming costume.

The sewing techniques covered are :

– sewing of boning casings and silicone elastic

-the construction of slip roads

- the creation of a pocket lining to slide foam inserts into
