A real ally for women, make your own menstrual panties with the Lilou pattern.

There are several advantages to sewing your own menstrual pants.
Economical, ecological, practical and stylish. Reusable menstrual pants are very popular all over the world!

You'll need technical supplies/fabrics to make your panties.

The menstrual panties are made from absorbent "ZORB" fabric for optimum protection and hygiene during your period.

This model is designed with 2 gusset options: standard (model A) or long (model B) to accompany your period in all situations. The long version increases the volume of absorption.
You can also adapt your knickers to the flow of your period by choosing the type of absorbent fabric according to the flow: light/medium/heavy.

As well as regular underwear, Lilou is there for you at all times: menstruation, post-partum discharge, bladder weakness. Stay calm in all circumstances.

For each gusset length, you can make low-rise or medium-rise knickers.

As an option, we can embellish your panties with a braid on the front and/or back.

Patterns and instructions are available in English or French, in downloadable format or as a paper pack.

Depending on the model, you will need :

Fabric :

Model A
30cm x 140cm width fabric - up to and including size 40
35cm x 140cm width of fabric - over size 40

Model B
35cm x 140cm width of fabric - up to and including size 40
40cm x 140cm width of fabric - over size 40

Lining

For interior fabrics, use cotton jersey, PUL* and ZORB*.

Model A: standard gusset version
25cm x 25cm cotton jersey, PUL fabric and ZORB fabric - up to size 40
30cm x 25cm cotton jersey, PUL fabric and ZORB fabric - over size 40

Model B: long gusset version
30cm x 25cm cotton jersey, PUL fabric and ZORB fabric - up to size 40
35cm x 30cm cotton jersey, PUL fabric and ZORB fabric - over size 40

*PUL is a waterproof coated technical fabric with a soft side and a shiny side. It is slightly stretchy for added comfort.

**ZORB is a highly absorbent technical fabric (six times more absorbent than terry cloth). It is an essential material for menstrual pants. It is available in 3 absorbency levels: light/medium/heavy.

Elastics :

-20mm wide jumper/folover elastic: 3m

Braid (optional) :

40cm of 20mm wide lace braid for the front and 40cm of 80mm wide braid minimum for the back.

Level required :

- know how to use a sewing machine, have some knowledge of sewing

    The kit contains enough fabric and supplies for all sizes and types of knickers. The quantities are therefore sufficient to make up to 2 pairs of knickers, depending on the pattern or model you are going to make.

    The technical fabrics are from ZORB, the world leader in absorption. We have selected the ZORB 3D Stay Dry MEDIUM fabric for medium flows.

    You'll also find the HEAVY reference on the site, suitable for heavy flows. Please note that I do not recommend menstrual panties for haemorrhagic flows.

    The essential summer accessory is the Zoé tunic! This beach dress, with its V-neckline and raglan sleeves, is light, loose and comfortable. The Zoé tunic will make you look stylish! It will be easy for you to make it and to vary it according to the cut and the fabrics chosen. You will find suitable fabrics on the shop in the beachwear fabric section.

    Different cut-outs are possible depending on the size and the desired look. Three different versions can be made (straight, slanted or with a slider for a gathered effect).

    The neckline, sleeve edges and bottom edges are decorated with a decorative braid. The tunic can also be made without a braid.

    The Idonim patterns are easy to understand and use. A step-by-step guide with photos will accompany you during the making of the tunic.

    You will also find some additional tips and tricks for choosing your supplies (type of needle, appropriate textiles ...).

    The tunic is easy to make, provided you have some basic sewing skills and know how to use a sewing machine.

    The MILA swimming costume is a feminine one-piece swimming costume, available in several finishes. The swimming costume has a very comfortable and elegant "curvy" shape that will adapt to your morphology. Each size is available in 2 cup sizes B/C or D/E.

    Each version is available with breast darts and is lined in the front. Different cut-outs are possible and add a sophisticated touch.

    You can choose between :
    - 3 front versions
    - 2 back versions with different types of knotting

    The models are presented as follows:

    - model A : one-piece swimming costume, classic shape
    - model B : swimming costume with horizontal yoke in the front underlining the waist
    - model C : swimming costume with horizontal underbust yoke and full cups. This model is available with a cup lining that allows the insertion of foam. This is the most supportive model.
